Tane Bowden won the U12 and U14 boys divisions again at event 2 of the Billabong Grom Series held in Whangamata this weekend. Tane also won the same divisons two weekends ago in Mount Maunganui and is now securely on top of both the U12 and U14 rankings in New Zealand.

Tane claimed that this is the biggest winning streak of his life so far and that this weekends wins were twice as sweet as it proves the first two weren’t a fluke. Look out for the little guy making big waves in Piha at the third and final event in two weekends time.
